Stick Around

Here in Massachusetts it has been said many times, If you don't like the weather just stick around as it will change by tomorrow! How true...Yesterday it was a warm, breezy 63 degree's. A lovely day to open the windows, hang out the wash, or take a stroll with a friend or loved one.

(Picture on a note card)

Not so much today. 35 degree's and not much hope that it will be any warmer by noon. Maybe tomorrow will be another one of those day's worth sticking around!

Keeping fingers crossed.

Enjoy your day,

Back Roads Of New England

I had to pay a visit early this morning to a friend who is having her 90Th birthday today.

Lot's of family will be visiting and everyone is excited. But....the day started out with an emergency and I was called to help out.

Her daughter had to take her little boy to the ER after he cut his head playing roughly with his cousin. It was a sleepover and jumping on the sofa was not what the young boys were suppose to do. We all know, rough playing for fun can cause someone to end up crying.

And of course it's never the right time as my friend was right in the middle of giving her mom her morning shower. So off I went to finish the job while the little one went off to the ER.
Everything worked out fine and the little boy had to have stitches and is now back home sitting quietly on the sofa..no rough playing today. On my way home, I spent some time capturing some New England winter scene.

The family runs a dairy farm and another neighbor runs a horse farm. I'm in this small rural farming town often and I can never get enough of the country feel and more so on a foggy, cold winter day.

I pulled the car over and with my little pocket digital camera, I spent a few moments enjoying the morning.

I hope you enjoy looking at how I spent my morning.

The only thing missing was a hot cup of coffee!

I will be back on the farm later today to join in the celebration and this time it

will be for cake and ice cream..

Have a nice day
