Shirley, This picture is beautiful, did you take it? I love the black and white, and the red cardinal gives the picture a special touch. A friend took a few pictures of Nel's wedding in black and white, and he touched the photos up and showed the red roses she was carrying. They were some of my favorite photos.

Shirley, I think you took your Christmas card photo for next year!!! So beautiful! I take immense pleasure out of watching the birds at our feeders. The feeder is situated so I can sit on our family room sofa and just watch them to my heart's content. The other day, I had thrown some bread to the chickens and some of the crumbs apparently were still on the deck railing. Out dog, Ben, had his big ol' nose up there sniffing and a little bird hopped from the feeders right onto his nose. I kid you not! Even if I had had my camera nearby I probably would have missed the shot. I was just spellbound. Happy New Year.
