After the chocolate is gone...

After the chocolate is gone the heart remains.
February has arrived. The month to celebrate LOVE!
We really don't need a special month to celebrate those we love, but it's nice
anyway!

Hi Shirley,

Love the chocolate boxes and the Valentines. Aren't they just so lovely and sweet?

Hope you are having a wonderful Saturday.

Shirley,
When I go to See's, I look around at all the beautifully wrapped boxes of chocolate, and sometimes I want to just get the chocolate for the BOX! The velvet ones are especially nice. Have a happy weekend, Shirley.

Shirley a beautiful vintage postcard. I wish I would have saved all my candy boxes over the years. Laura

after the chocolate is gone...i have a stomach ache!!!!! LOL !!! i have a hard time not eating the whole box!!
from as far back as i can remember until he died,my father always got me a box of chocolates for Valentine's day!! when i was a little girl,it was always the heart shaped box..and i felt so special!!! when i was older, since my passion is See's Bordeaux's(dark and light!!),it was a one pond box of the light and dark mix!! He and my Mother were an example to me of what true love is!

Shirley,
Thanks for visiting me and for your lovely comments.
You are a girl after my own heart!! I love antique Valentines.... especially the lacey ones. I collect old candy boxes. They are so beautiful.... with their old graphics and aged ribbons, lace and flowers. They are getting harder to find.
Thanks for sharing!
Will visit again soon.

Love the lacy cutouts on your Valentine. So delicate!
