Open up your heart and let the sunshine in!

All it takes is just a little Sunflower.
Was surprised when I found these in the local grocery store.
It was raining and cold outside.
April showers bring May flowers.
The sun peeked it's head out of the clouds but the wind is still howling.
The good thing is the rain helped in melting the snow that was fighting to stick around.
A few days from now we will be in warmer temps and I hope the sunshine brings May flowers with just a little less rain. Rain is good..Flowers are good..Sunshine is needed..

Hi, Shirley, sweet friend,
I am glad you were able to pick up some wonderful sunflowers at your grocers. We have had up and down temps all spring. Warm today and tomorrow, then turning rainy and cooler mid week! Your sunflowers really brightened my day. . .love and hugs. . .Vicki

It was so nice to see the deferent perspectives from which you shot these pictures. I have not seen sunflowers in the stores as of yet...lots of tulips and roses. You really let your creativity flow. genie

Our sunflowers have long gone - but the seed head is hung up waiting for some hungry birds. I live in hope!

Shirley,
I used to love this flower very much, but haven't seen them in awhile. Your pictures brought back sweet memories for me. I will have to get some sunflowers for myself very soon.

Happy Monday.

Shirley, last week my yard looked like winter then we had three days of really warm weather and everything was transformed and blooming. It's so pretty here now. Yours will be that way very soon. :) Since Easter was so early I had nothing blooming so I asked my husband to bring something bright and cheery and yellow and Springy from the grocer or florist on his way home from work. He brought sunflowers. LOL.....not exactly an Easter flower. I went to an estate sale over the weekend and thought of you. I bought a really really pretty old Valentine. xo

Shirley, your floral photography is so wonderful. The sunflowers are so cheerful but my heart sang when I read your post from last week showcasing the pink and white bouquet.

As I walk through my yard, I see tiny green shoots poking through the ground here and there. But Spring weather and flowers are still just a dream.
