Fall Images

It has been a dry fall here in New England!
We sure can use some much needed rain fall.
I'm sure the rains will fall along with our temps which will cause things to ice over!
The tree's are almost empty of all the beautiful color leaves.
And all living things are hunting for food.
 and lucky for me,
I was in the right place with my camera
as this beauty flew down in front of me.
Enjoy the season as it is all too short!

Shirley,
I always delight in your pictures. Your Fall images are so pretty, and I can't believe how close up you got the bird. I love bird watching; it's one of my favorite past times. We are in full Autumn here too, not too dry and very lovely all around. I think it's so beautiful where you live, and I enjoy seeing pictures of your surrounding area.

Have a nice Autumn Sunday.

Love,
~Sheri

Gorgeous photos, Shirley! Our trees are almost all bare. It's starting to look (and feel!) a bit bleak out there.

Wonderful capture of the hawk too!

Hope you get some rain soon (I'll send you some of ours!) xoxo

Being in the right place at the right time (with your camera) is such a joy isn't it. Beautiful autumn reflections! Hope you have some good soaking rain soon.

You have captured some spectacular Autumn color in your photos, Shirley. We had delightful Fall temperatures but did not have brilliant color this year. Thanks for sharing your New England scenery.

Such breathtaking autumn views. Great photos!
Here in CA it gets chilly, and we lite up our fireplace often in the evenings or early mornings, but no rain yet.
